Most GIS professionals we talk to run ArcGIS. Esri has built the dominant platform in geospatial, and when analysts work with point cloud data, they often want it inside ArcGIS Pro or ArcGIS Online.
So I’m really proud to say we have now integrated LumiDB with ArcGIS. 3D point cloud data in LumiDB now streams directly into ArcGIS with no file exports or format conversions in between. Simply point ArcGIS to LumiDB, and the points are there.

This works the same way our other integrations do. You publish data to LumiDB once, and each downstream tool gets it in its native format on demand: 3D Tiles for web viewers, EPT for open-source tools, LAZ, e57 or GLTF for desktop processing, I3S for ArcGIS. One archive, no file shuffling. The coolest thing about this is that you can dynamically combine a number of datasets, crop and filter them, and the resulting transformed point cloud will be streamed into ArcGIS with no static preprocessing required!
Of course, this is just the starting point, and we'll be developing the integration further to support more advanced use cases. For example, we’re planning bi-directional data flow between the systems, so that edits and other intelligence made in ArcGIS can propagate back into LumiDB. More on that as the work progresses.
If you're already on LumiDB, this will be available during April. If you want to see it with your own data, reach out.
