We are partnering with Pointly, a Berlin-based company specializing in AI-driven 3D point-cloud classification, to build a direct connection between our platforms.

This partnership is a direct expression of LumiDB's mission: to make point cloud data accessible for every use case, bridging the gap between raw data capture and actionable, AI-classified insights. By hosting Pointly’s advanced classification on LumiDB’s high-performance engine, we are proving that specialized tools can work together in an open ecosystem.

A city-wide dataset classified by Pointly (segmenting vegetation, buildings, ground, and other infrastructure objects) streaming natively in LumiDB's browser interface. This workflow allows engineers to query specific asset layers without downloading terabytes of files.

The problem we are solving together

Classification and management of point clouds are closely related tasks, but today they live in separate worlds. Teams using Pointly to classify large datasets and LumiDB to manage and distribute them have to handle the connection manually. That means file transfers, format conversions, and coordination overhead that slow down every project.

A direct integration removes that friction.
